"It is that flash of red and gold ~ that flash of fire ~ against the otherwise solid black plumage that identifies the red-winged blackbird. Alongside the Sun's gradual return from darker days, redwings arrive in large flocks in early Spring, their colorful sparks blazing the way to destination ponds and swamplands. I hadn't thought of it before now, just hours after completing this work: they are a reminder that the spark of our passions, the light of creativity, and the doors to discovery are always within reach if we are open to receiving them. When something is lost, or even when it lies dormant, it still exists ~ and that means it can be found. Just use your key. It's right there." Elisabeth Ladwig
"Lost and Found" is a creatively digitally composited artwork. The central figure is a woman with long red hair wearing a flowing blue dress, who is seen from the back.
