"Now I know. Now I know what the world looks like after the flowers have bloomed and the animals have emerged, setting the stage for this season of growth. I imagine what it feels like to be them, hopeful and curious, eager to make an appearance, eager to explore. Each discovery sparks a light within, adding another star to the sky, some brighter, bigger, smaller, dimmer, and not a one insignificant. Every learning is a piece of the fabric that holds us when we fall, warms us when we’re chilled, and teaches us everything we need to know about the world and our roles as compassionate creatures. "Shine" is a digital composite with a mystical and fantasy-inspired theme. At the center is a young deer standing in a field of grass and purple wildflowers under a night sky. Surprisingly, a luminous crinoline hoop skirt is surrounding the deer. The skirt is mapped out with glowing lines creating a grid pattern and is adorned with a multitude of sparkling lights that give the impression of a starry night sky. The top of the skirt morphs seamlessly into a constellation that forms an ethereal bodice and sleeves. Above the dress, a large full moon bathes the scene in a soft glow, enhancing the dreamy and otherworldly ambiance. The background is mostly dark, featuring a lightly textured night sky scattered with stars, while a hint of a distant treeline at the horizon adds a sense of depth and setting to the composition. Overall, the artwork evokes themes of nature, the cosmos, and compassion.
